Hi guys,
Cashed in my silver stock from the bank, I found in Coin Roll Hunting. $197
My cost total, $90 for the two coins.
So I decided to spend my winnings wisely. Here are the two coins, both certified. First the ANACS.
Thanks guys :)

It's a W!

No, it's NOT what you think. Lol.
Very unusual.

2015W Silver Roosevelt Proof 70 DCAM

Now, An NGC Coin
Check out the cartwheel effect. Maybe better than the 62?

Very cool on her cheek as well and a spike coming out the top of her head and a bar on each side of the “R” in pluribus cool coin.

    Hoard the keys.

To me it looks like an error they decided it was nice enough to just grade. Looks like it was struck through a metal fragment and it stayed there. Or, a lamination.

MS66 taste on an MS63 budget.

    Here are the improved photo's.
    No error or lamination problem.
Is it me or do we see a way better graded Morgan than given?
    Why a ms 62?

What? From the Fun Show? :*
Here is one on the Bay.

    The seller is asking $170?
What can this coin's mintage be?
It has to be super low, no?

Just found out the mintage for the

    2015W (Westpoint) Roosevelt Proof Dime

    75,000

This is probably the lowest mintage on any coin from Westpoint?

75K is very high compared to the West Point platinum coins.

The 2008-W $50 uncirculated platinum coin has a mintage of just 2,253.

75,000 is a low mintage but you must keep in mind that all 75k came in sets. There was no circulation... thus most of those 75k will stay in pristine shape.

Very different than a coin released into circulation with a mintage of 75k.

Still a very nice coin. Just keep the mintage figures into perspective.

Does anyone care to look up 75,000 on the rarity scale? The words Rare and this coin should not be used in the same sentence.

I have two of the W dimes. They were the beginning of my West Point mint focus. The others followed....Nice PR70DCAM @JoeyCoins ... Looks like a die clash too....or is that a reflection? Cheers, RickO

Still 75k has the potential to be a redbook rarity at some point as people just seeing the low number gravitate towards it. The 1889 eagle isnt really rarer than many other dates but it’s 3x common dates because the low mintage and people seeing it in the redbook all these years

Coincidentally, I just pulled my March of Dimes set out last night and was thinking about getting the W dime certified.

    Very nice dime.
Check the Morgan under a good light, there are likely some light hairlines or slide marks that limit the grade to 62 but not bad enough to details grade it. For example I have a v-nickel that looks very gem, but under just the right light there are some marks across the cheek, also NGC-62.

Thanks for the heads up. I was seriously considering to crack out the Morgan and hope for an up grade? Not just one grade either, but two or three! :* Am I asking for too much? :D
