Ebay sellers - Anyone misplace a 1909 VDB?

AercusAercus Posts: 381 ✭✭✭✭

Made a bonehead mistake and threw away the packing slip before doing inventory reconciliation. I never ordered this item yet it arrived the other day. I'm hoping against hope that either a) the seller realizes his mistake and contacts me through ebay or b) reads this and gets in touch with me here. If you are missing a 1909 VDB in PCGS plastic (ms graded), please contact me. Be ready to provide cert # or at the least an accurate description of the coin.

Could you list it on EBay (without the grade or cert number) in order to call attention to it?

You have done business with the guy who owns it or he wouldn't have your shipping address, 'eh? Need to reach out to those that you have done business with I think.

If the person who shipped it sold it on ebay you should be able to find it in the sold listings and contact the seller. ;)

Reverse track it. Should be easy enough. The fbi can figure it out, so can you. 😬😉

Good work on tracing the seller..... Nice to see that sort of effort to help with a shipping error. Cheers, RickO

Meanwhile my wife has tried to sell four older but still good mobile devices: One was cancelled by a buyer after "noticing" it was a Verizon phone and not US Cellular, relisted lot sells for $30 less. Another buyer (a reseller) opens a return 22 days after purchase saying the item won't power on and is defective, it certainly worked when we sent it. a 50% problem rate...
Our circle is very fortunate it seems.

I once pur chased an 4 reale Atocha cob from a seller on ebay. It was a 50 th birthday gift for my wife ans had to be sent with the emerald also from the Atocha to be mounted.
The seller had 3 cobs up for sale at the same time....can you guess where this is going?
Ill give you 3 guesses ...and yes you are correct the seller sent each buyer the wrong cob!
Yeppers all 3 went to the wrong buyer....talk about a cluster.... things got straightened out, but I had to beat on my Jewler friend to put it in over drive.
