Thanks Grandma!

My first bust half dollar from Granny’s cigar box.
Q: When does a collector become a numismatist?
A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.
A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.

Grandma understood the meaning of family heirloom!
Grandma just had a cigar box of odd and unusual. Only things I can definitely identify as hers is this half and an Indian quarter eagle. Rest was some Mercury dimes and the like. Nothing else special.
