...You're able to wake up every morning and realize just how truly blessed you are to be able to enjoy another day of this existence. Open your eyes (if you're blessed with sight) enjoy the light and all the beauty of nature, Breathe in (if you're blessed with the sense of smell) and smell the blooms of spring, Stretch your muscles (if you're blessed to be able to enjoy the mobility) and feel the blood cursing in your veins and invigorate your body. If you're able to -have a cup of coffee or your favorite beverage and taste the sweet, or bitter, salty, or savory. Enjoy the company and conversation of a friend, a loved one or neighbor (if you're so blessed). I can think of so many reasons to be an optimist and I wonder why would anyone choose to be of the other persuasion.
Most of us started with pocket change (our own or from our parents)....We also had the dream of riches acquired through said change. It is only with experience and thusly gained knowledge that our expectations were dimmed, excitement dampened, and the more mundane search for dates, mint marks, condition, grades etc. commenced. The hobby is still fun and excitement still exists, though the expectation of found treasure has, for the most part, vanished. Cheers, RickO
...you just KNOW that classic commems are ready to make a soaring comeback.

Been laid up a week with a herniated disk.
Pass the time watching TV by going thru the change jar looking for Close and Wide AM's.
As Mel Fisher always said... "today is the day!"

Used to love Mad Magazine and to a lesser extent, Cracked Magazine. Mad was always better though.

You’re an eternal optimist if you think everything you find in the parking lot is a valuable error.
Yor're an eternal optimist if you think the Ontario Ford government will reverse their golf course closure regulation.
Only province or state that is closed for golf.
oh...and to keep it coin related...a picture of a 'Ford' coin............

You are a US Mint customer.
You are an eternal optimist if you buy a stock in the morning and expect the closing price for that day to be higher.
