Ring of death or coin error?

I found this quarter tonight in a roll. Just want an opinion, is this the ring of death (caused by a rolling machine), or is it an error? The only reason why I ask is that the ring of death does not appear to be consistent with the others I have seen.

Looks like the ring of death to me.
It's not an error. Probably from a coin rolling machine, plus a hundred other possibilities. It's a spender.
