My rarest, most expensive coin is my 1988 Lincoln cent that I found at the vacuum cleaners at the local car wash. I keep it in a vault in my basement guarded by twelve pit bulls, an alarm system, and several automatic weapons on sensors to fire in the event of a security breach...so don't get any bright ideas...

This is probably the rarest and most expensive coin I currently own. 1889-CC Morgan, one of the keys in the series. I bought it raw as part of a collection and had it graded.

Working out the deal for it now, should be here in a couple of weeks. It will be the second most I've ever spent on a single coin, after the '09-S VDB I ended up downgrading a couple of years ago. I'll hint that it is for my clipped 7070 type set, it's the sort of coin that pushes a set to another level.

The most expensive but certainly not the rarest. I have several that are rarer than this one.

Are the coins you listed "with grades" on your spreadsheet slabbed coins or just "your" estimate grades?
Actually my rarest and most expensive coin is not that rare or expensive, however it is a triple die 1964 Kennedy Half that my Dad gave me in 1964 when I was 5 years old..........he also gave my 3 older brothers one......he said to us that night he gave them to us,,,,,,,,,save this, it might be worth some money someday..............I don't5 have a picture and I apologize for that as it's tucked away somewhere.

This is likely one of my rarest raw coins and it was a coin roll find in an old roll of wheat cents!
It's been restored a bit with acetone which did a great job on it by the way.
This was a photo from almost the moment I found it, I couldn't believe it!

How about my least expensive. Cost means nothing for the enjoyment or collecting experience. I have an original Renoir but like it no better than the $80 watercolor I found at an antique shop.

I had to look at my inventory. There were two that were tied price wise. Neither is particularly rare except for condition census and eye appeal.

This one might be my rarest. I'd have to give it some thought. It's considerably rarer than the 16/16 I posted earlier.

Thanks! There's almost certainly fewer than 35 of these known in all grades. Most are in Mint state.
I'm actually not 100% sure that it is an abraded die variety. The enormity of the multiple clashes could account for the severely attenuated front leg. It could also be a combination of the two. Whatever, it's a highly collectable variety.

The Saranac MI store cards are probably the most difficult to acquire of all Michigan store cards. This one is a MI 865 3a, Rarity 9 with two known. This is the Fuld plate coin for the 3a variety. NGC AU-53. Engraver unknown.
