While Buffalo hunting, I found this one for sale.

It looked interesting, so I did some additional research and found this one from a previous sale.

Check out the TrueViews. Same Buffalo, different colors?

Can you post side by side pics? I’m on my phone.
Man, they look real close. Seems to be a mark to the right of the D on one that doesn't show on the other.
In case you’re wondering, it’s the same coin.

A lot of the markers and rim dings look the same. I think you're right.

There are multiple spots on each side which match.

All kinds of stuff can happen when people make images of coins. My personal belief is that finding multiple matching features is good for confirmation that it's the same coin but not finding one is not necessarily an excluding factor.
Yeah, it's weird for sure. That mark is really the only difference I could find in my quick 2 minute scan.
which came first?
Same coin. Nice observation.
I’m guessing the blast white one. The color looks easy enough to induce artificially to me.
Yep, it’s the same coin

Attempting to mislead the general public with a tone job. Imagine that.
Where is the top linked cert example currently listed for sale?

I found it on ebay.

Thank you. The color looks markedly different/considerably more subtle in the seller’s images than in the PCGS photo.

Seems like adding toning and losing a CAC sticker makes for bad economics.
Definitely the same coin.... corresponding marks on both sides. Cheers, RickO
Edited, not sure what is going on here outside of someone resubmitting with artificial toning.
The lower serial number.
It depends. Lots of people paying stupid money for color right now.
Super interesting!
Great eye for detail and sleuthing work TripodBuffalo!
There is lot of food for thought here and much, much more tactfully left unsaid on top of that!
Great stuff!

The coin looks burnt now. Not that attractive. Such an original look before.
I agree the the rim dings and marks are identical to each other.
There is a small "x" scratch onto the face of both. You can spot if you run a horizontal line that just touches the top of the nostril and follow it to just short of the center of the coin. It is just below the hair line. The toned coin is harder to see but it is there.
