Oh, my gosh! Who knew these PCI boxes had THIS much value?!

Congratulations to the seller for offering an honest auction- true from the start. I watched this one and was a bit surprised how well it ended (for the seller). I suppose the buyer must be happy, too, as these PCI boxes are getting a bit difficult to locate.

I think I threw a couple hundred dollars worth away a few years back based on that sale!

It does make me wonder what one in mint condition would go for?

They cost $5.00 from PCI back in the 90's
I think the half dollar had more to do with the price then the box

it is possible it is the first one i've ever seen.
That's cheap. I sold a Hannes Tulving slab box for over $100 a couple years back.

Wow.. more box collectors.... I wonder how much my belly button lint collection would sell for on ebay??

Cheers, RickO
That comes with coins...right?
Agreed. 1963-S is a better date.

Price varies as to whether it is being offered "intact" or not. Need to make sure that buyer pays shipping if intact.
You could offer it on Etsy. lol

Kennedys are my quest...
I would be surprised if many in mint condition exist. I suspect PCI did a bit of the writing and stickers on the boxes. I checked the melt value of silver on that half and it is at $9 now. I am also surprised what some people collect and place value in. I have to admit that I and most of us here do the same thing for various collectibles of the kind we like. I checked my mini-hoard of PCI boxes and see there are 3 different color variety versions on the top row - who knew?
There's a lot of cash out there now waiting to be spent on ... stuff.
Neat!
