I buy 2x2 for my raw coins.

Decide to get a couple of those red multi row boxes to help with organization.

Turns out I bought boxes for 1.5 x 1.5's

Just one of those days.

Yep I am stupid.

Just to accommodate 1000's of coins, once upon a time in the shop, I switched over to 1 1/2's. It saved a lot of space !

Got a couple single sleeve 2x2 red box so it will still work.

Probably even better since I can keep the Ebay listings apart from the those in waiting.

Honestly had never heard of 1.5 x 1.5 until a couple days ago.

    Imagine my chagrin!

I might run out of 2x2's in 2025

I thought I was buying capital holder for silver eagles........actually bought for silver dollars ;)
To make good use I’ll crack out 5 silver dollars and put them in the holder so I don’t waste money

Just take all of your 2x2's and cut them down to fit in the 1.5x1.5 box. :D

Not as stupid as me. I was looking for a tube tester. The first picture was a tube tester with a tube being tested. I thought that I was bidding on the tube tester. I did not read the whole description of the auction . Turns out that the seller was just showing a tube being tested. He was actually selling the tube, not the tube tester. I bought it and figured it out after the auction was over and paid for and the tube was on the way. I never even opened the box. It is still sitting here a year later unopened.

Each error is a learning experience.... Go forward, knowing it is unlikely you will ever make this mistake again. ;) Cheers, RickO

I had a similar experience a couple weeks ago I ended up ordering 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 saflips instead of standard two by twos. Obviously they would’ve worked for the intended purpose but my OCD made me send them back.

I have some red double row boxes that you can have, but I imagine shipping would make it un feasible.

If that’s the worst mistake you make, it’ll probably be OK.
