Feuchtwanger's Comp One Cent...which one to keep? - GTG (Grades posted)

I was in the mood to add a Feuchtwanger's Composition One Cent to my collection and of course I found two that I liked within a couple days of each purchase. I am searching for a little guidance on which one the forumites favors over the other.
I am by no means an accurate grader, but these Feuchtwanger Cents typically come weakly struck. I thought it was pretty neat that these have reeded edges. What do you think these grade at in their respective holders?

I like the obverse on the front example more, but the reverse more on the second. Tough call.
I'd go with the first one because the obverse side is just too distracting on the second.
I like them both, so would probably spend some time to see what dies I had and rarity

I like the looks of the second one the most.
I like the 2nd one better too

No contest ... number 2 wins.
Is that pvc on #2 reverse? Just asking, not telling?
I would be happy to own either, but I like #1 a bit better for the luster and color.
I like number two

Removed, OP swapped pics!
What's wrong with getting them both? I see them as 58 and 55. I like the look of #1 better and it is in PCGS plastic so for me this is a no question #1. Or if they are priced right I might get both. I too would look at the die parings before hitting the buy button but I also have not seen much with people talking about collecting these as die pairs in recent years. It seems that Ambro was into these years ago.
The PCGS holdered coin appears to be 6I (R1) NGC holdered coin is identified as 5H (R2). I see that NGC attributes them, whereas PCGS does not. Being a Type Collector, I only need one.
UPDATE: I just noticed that I put the WRONG PCGS coin in the OP, and corrected it. I was not able to work out a deal for the PCGS holdered coin in the OP which was MS62 CAC.

I prefer the first coin.
I prefer the color of the first coin, but the green would scare me away. I like both their strikes.
I see why you bought them both.

I prefer number one.... but either one would be nice in a collection. Cheers, RickO
Just want you to know you hooked me with this post
Had to buy one of these myself, though nowhere near as nice as those 2

I am not picking up on the green that you mentioned, being colorblind does not help. Would you point out your area of concern?

Here are some red arrows pointing to the green in the O and N and elswhere on the coin. As I said both coins are beauties but the green would make me concerned it would worsen. I actually do prefer the color of the 1st coin.

I received the NGC MS62 version yesterday, and it is darker than the sellers images portray. I will think about it over the weekend, but initial feeling is that it will be returned. The PCGS AU55 version may be listed for sale, since it was an auction item. The original, wrongly posted image of the PCGS MS62 CAC that I missed out on was sold to another dealer, along with a larger asking price. This was probably the closest I am going to get to an actual pattern coin for my collection. Thanks to all for their comments! Have a great weekend!

The first one has more attractive color, but the second one has a little more detail. Neither one is Mint State. So if they are changing a big premium for the second one because it’s graded “MS-62”, you might consider passing.
The tiny green areas on the first might be a concern. These pieces are mostly made of copper, but my guess it, it’s arrested given proper storage.
I certainly agree with you that neither one is Mint State.
Ichi, Ni, San, Shi ..... Ni it is.
