Hey that is great if you do @Joe_360
It is nice to feel like that normal may be returning.
Posts some pics.

Charging admission to a show with only 16 dealers? Geeze!
That admission fee thing is weird, but I hope you enjoy the show if you go.

Thanks for the heads up, @Joe_360. Already have plans tomorrow or I would have driven over. Hopefully this means the Concord, Santa Clara and Sacramento shows will reopen soon.

All the Bay Area shows I've attended charge a nominal fee. One's ticket stub is entered in a drawing and there are usually some nice prizes (not that I have ever won anything).

@pointfivezero,
Thanks Tim
This is what I have, next scheduled CoinExpo San Jose will be September 17-18, 2021 at the DoubleTree Hotel in San Jose.
Joe
Yes, true but they usually only $3 or $4 and also have $2 off discount with the ad. Thanks
Interesting.
I may make the drive to So. SF tomorrow just to renew and refresh my "coin show experience", albeit with a mask and keeping in mind social distancing.
Maybe pick up a shiny round piece of metal or two.
Had to look it up but yes, you're correct:
Great news... Hope to see more and more shows opening.... and SHOW REPORTS!!!
Cheers, RickO
Stopped by the show. Just leaving after about 2 hours brousing, chatting and buying a couple of coins.
Will post details later.
Very fun to attend a show after one year.
Let’s see some pics folks!
Just don't show any pics of coins with a political figure on it or the forum cop here will have you strung up.

I arrived at the show at about 10:15 a.m.
Entry to the show was restricted. Your temperature was taken. No admittance if you had a fever.
Only a maximum of 50 people at a time were allowed on the bourse. I had to stand in a line before I was admitted onto the bourse. As people left others were let in. I was admitted at about 10:30 am.
The tables were spread out. Plenty of room, allowing people to keep their distance. Everyone was wearing masks.
A very diverse crowd was present. Young to old. Male and female. In general everyone I spoke too was very upbeat and happy to be at a coin show (I was very happy).
I went on a hunt for raw, high grade, blast white, luster bomb Walkers from the 1940s. I have decided to put together a set of these coins in a Dansco album from 1933 to 1947.
I found two halves that fit the bill. A 1941 P and a 1944 P. Photos attached. The photos do not show their true blast white color.
After I left I drove north to SF and stopped by to check out the new diggs of Witter Coins. It is gorgeous and a great upgrade from the previous location on Market Street in the Hobart Building. If you have not stopped by you really should.
At Witter Coins I snooped and bought a Dansco Album for 1941-1947 Walkers.
I put some coins in it. Photo attached.
A fun day for me.
nice pics and picks of coins.
any of the floor at the show?

Kennedys are my quest...
No pics of the bourse floor.
While at the show I also saw a white Capital Holder with gold embossed letters containing a US Gold Type Set containing three dollar gold coins from the 1850s, a three dollar gold piece, Liberty and Indian quarter eagles, half eagles and eagles, a Liberty double eagle and a St. Gaudens Double eagle. The coins were all AU and MS. The coins were common dates.
The eye appeal of the US gold set was very high. It was fun to hold it in my hands and view the coins with a loupe.
The dealer that had the set told me a customer of his consigned the set to him for sale and that the customer was asking $9,800.00 for the set. Do not know if this is a good price or not. Would have needed to learn about and evaluate each coin in the set.
Nice that you were able to enjoy the show, I have a similar capital holder in black that does not have a space for the $3 gold piece, just need gold prices to fall some more and then I can fill in the last two spaces to complete mine.

I appreciate the reports. I was not able to make the drive out there today.
Coins shows on Thursdays and Fridays never seen to work out for working stiffs like me.

Nice report
Thanks for the show report. Things are starting to look up for coins shows and I can't wait to get to a show!
Edited to add: The Walkers look great in the Dansco album.
