I've been working on updating, crossing, and adding to my Symphony Set. This is a set of coins with music themes, including instruments, composers, music notation, rockstars, or any other music-related designs.

I'll also use this thread to highlight some select older coins or new additions over time. All but two of the pictured coins above were submitted raw. The latest additions to the set currently were the three Music Legends coins from the UK Royal Mint. I was lucky to get three 70s in a row on these!
I have 17 additional coins at PCGS now for the set, just waiting for them to go through grading and imaging.
Know of any coins I should add? Let me know, I'm always on the lookout for new pieces that fit the theme.

Thanks! I have two of the sets on your list already (Austrian Philharmonic coins, and Austrian Mint 20 Euro three-coin set Mozart: A Life in Three Acts (2015/2016)). But I'll definitely browse through composercoins.com for more. I know there are a ton out there.

Did the UK Royal Mint also do a coin for The Rolling Stones?
So far they've only done the three above. I keep waiting for them to announce a Pink Floyd coin.

That's the one in hoping they make. Really like the music legends set, always on the lookout for the next release.
TrueView just posted this morning for my latest addition, this 2014 Stradivari "Lady Blunt" coin from Niue. MS 69 (Top Pop). This coin is colorized on the reverse, but the obverse is an actual piece of wood, creating the violin body, that has been affixed inside the silver. It's really cool in hand. These are also individually numbered on the edge (limited mintage of 999), this coin is number 175.

The 1936 Classic Silver Commem celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Cincinnati Music Center of America was a ruse - there was never any such organization! But it does have an instrument on the reverse, along with Stephen Foster on the obverse (but who lived in Cincinnati for only three years in the 1840’s, well before 1886, and had nothing to do with the music scene in Cincinnati while he was there).
At the time this coin was designed, all coinage was required to include “In God We Trust”, “E. Pluribus Unum”, and “Liberty” on each coin. Notice how all of that is squeezed onto the bottom of the reverse in order to comply!
