There are 1353 wheat cents in the jar. The winner is Batman23 with a guess of 1357 only four off.

Hello, I have decided to give away this Russian coin. It is crown sized and dated 1820. Unfortunately, the reverse of the coin is not too great and has environmental damage.

Object: Guess the number of wheat cents in this jar. They are all wheat cents and the jar is full to the cap.

Rules:
1. One guess per person
2. No editing guesses.
3. Contest ends and No guesses will be accepted after 12:01 AM Monday, Mar.22, 2021 EST.
4. If someone guesses the exact amount, the game is over at that point.
5. In the event of guesses that are the same distance from the amount, the earliest guess wins. i.e. Say the correct amount is 3000 and someone guesses 2990 at 2:32 pm and someone else guessed 3010 at 2:34 pm, while these are the same amount from 3000 the guess put in at 2:32 pm would win. Do not guess the same amount as someone else, you guess will not count as the earlier guess will get the credit.
6. Winner will be announced when I feel like it. (sometime Monday Mar. 22.)
