one for the book, one for the registry: 13-S. Graded and Truview Now!

Sharing two relatively newPs. Having completed a buffalo registry set, and finding it hard to improve upon with the given budget, I've gravitated to variety collecting. It is come what may: 2fs, NO Fs, 3HL, RPMs, DDO/DDR and is generally low grade. On the rare occasion I'm able to score a better grade, I also have a 2F registry. I now have the good fortune of adding the 13-S to both.
The one in the holder is unattributed at the moment, but is a no-question variety, and will get attributed when I get around to renewing my submission subscription. Seller knew what it was, so I paid what was roughly between variety and non-variety money - still a nice pick-up by my math.
The raw one was a true cherry pick, I'll call it Fine based on a nice looking reverse, and will join the album club.
Trueview now posted!

Nice!
As you know, that is one of the tougher two feather dates. That was a nice cherrypick on the Fine one. Hunting down all those varieties will definitely keep you busy. Good luck!
Sweet adds!
Congrats!!
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

Good to see your still hunting. I have browsed your set ATS a number of times. Great coins for the grades. I can see your set took time and patience with the pictures to prove it. Not just opening the check book and paying for a 67.
Alain-
Let me know if and when you find a 1923 2F, which might be the toughest for the variety.
Rejoined the Club in April and got pretty quick turn around on a voucher/regrade. The coin graded as purchased, 63, but now with attribution!

nice one!
it still don't make sense to me though how there could be THAT much abrasion of the die and not see the field at an angle, like you can between the two feathers on your coin and how we often see it on mercs with severe polishing. you polish that much metal away, the fields go down and the coin surfaces should go up. still lots of mysteries to learn i guess.
That's a toughie for sure! And what a nice example! Note that the designer's initial is also nowhere to be seen. This is one of three or four dates that are missing both the feather and the initial.
I just obtained this one a couple of days ago-a "Lone Ranger" die clash-
@koynekwest .... That is a nice Buff... First I have heard that die clash referred to as 'Lone Ranger', but see the 'mask'. Cheers, RickO
