Just in.....grades and lots of true views

Just a few of my favorites from todays grades and TV's
.
.
(c.1860) Token GW-410 Brass, Washington Spiel-Munze Gaming MS64
Not rare but still nice looking. Absolutely love the eagle's feathers
.
.
.
(c.1860) Token GW-427 Brass PE Strassburger & Nuhn MS64 Common
.
.
(c.1850) Token Rulau NY-NY 421 Copper C. Leighton, MS64BN **
This one is quite rare. They are rare in both metals copper and white metal. Rulua book says that Charles Busnell reported that the dies for this piece was cut in Birmingham England and makes no notation of this very thick flan. I don't think PCGS made a notation on the slab but, will look when I get it.
.
.
**(c.1850) Token Rulau NY-NY 1051 Brass E.L. Percy MS65 Not rare but certainly not that many in better grades.
Also super nice eagle design
.
.
(c.1880) Token Rulau Pa-Ph 410 Brass Wanamaker & Brown MS64
Again not super rare but you just don't see many and when you do they sure don't look like this one!
.
.
(1895) Token Rulau Pa-Phl 114 Copper John Wanamaker Stores MS65
There is no short supply for this merchant but this one has a superb look and great depiction of an Indian Head
.
.
(c.1850) Token Louis Kossuth Brass Washington of Hungary Counter MS65
Also semi common but just a nice high grade example. You can see the luster in the image.
.
,
(c.1850) Token Rulau TN-Tenn 23 Brass Francisco & Co. MS64
This token is a double Merchant token which is much rarer. You see many of the Fransisco & Wiggen Co,
But The Peabody Hotel Memphis together is rare.
.
.
(1859-61) Token Miller Calif-11 Brass RE Thurnauer & Zinn AU58
Almost anything out of San Fransisco is rare.
.
.
1915 Medal Panama-Pacific Expo 38mm CA Souvenir Penny, MS64BN
Mostly seen in brass, not copper and a beautiful rendition of an Indian Head.
.
.
1915 Medal Panama-Pacific Expo 45mm CA Souvenir Penny, MS64RB.
Usually seen below AU
,
.
1882 Token Rulau IL-Ri 4 Copper RE Rock Island Arsenal MS63
There are 2 varieties of this one. This one is more common
.
.
1882 Medal J-CM-42 Gilt Brass Pennsylvania Bicentennia MS65l
Tons of luster and if I'm not mistaken @Zoins will remind me that gilt is a little bit rare. The varieties are discussed here
.
.
1879 Token Ferracute PA State Fair Copper MS63BN
Not really seen that often
.
.
The last one is.......because I love the little guy on the obverse. Not rare at all.
1861-65) Token F-257/311a Copper Army & Navy Patriotic, MS63BN

Amazing looking group!
Cool!
nice tokens... congrats on the grades and just finding such wonderful examples. I have been to the Peabody Hotel in Memphis. I don't recall the exact time in the late afternoon, but there is this tradition of ducks...yes I wrote ducks that migrate from one fountain area to another area at the Hotel with the help of a Bellman or some other hotel employee. It really is something to see in Memphis along with Beale Street, the Sun Record Studio and of course... Graceland

Not a token collector but this group sure makes collecting them look interesting. Nice stuff!
Those are impressive tokens Stef.... clearly shows your discerning eye for quality. I have not been a token collector, but I will look for one of those Army/Navy tokens. Cheers, RickO
Nice coins and Trueviews. Very hard to image copper as well as that.
Nice! Congratulations!
Really nice collection!
Those are some awesome looking pieces!

I always enjoy your threads because I know I'll see some very cool stuff I'm not familiar with. Those are all really nice!
Great tokens Stef!
That's a lot of eye candy!
Love your GW-410. I had to keep looking for differences with my GW-413 until I put them together:
There's one on eBay now!
Love it! I've been on the hunt ever since you posted yours!
Me likes. Tokens seem to have the lure that caused me to collect World Coins for 40 years!
Wow that's a impressive lot!! Very nice 👍
Super nice group — I especially like the Wanamaker & Brown ⭐️

Thank......very cool story. I did read about this while was doing some internet searches.
What's neat about NGC they note the variety ie: "short bust" "long bust" etc....
When my NGC grades post I will post them here along with the images I ordered from them (40pieces)

I can understand that what I wrote about the Peabody would lead one to believe I was making up the story while typing...
