This one will fit nicely along side my other two.

Which one do you guy's like the best?

I can see why you like it.

The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

It’s attractive, but I see no value in slabbing it.

Thanks. Well, besides the authenticity, the True View, the grade title, to be easily inserted in the PCGS slab holder, for future sale and lastly, a possible whole set of toned Eagles. Other than those, no real reason, your right. Lol :D

The price was far cheaper than buying a new mint ASE... ;) Cheers, RickO

Nice pics! I like the '97 a whole lot. Be sure to let us know how this one comes out- 68 is my guess.... maybe you'll get a 69.

Yes! All three. Two were purchased from the same guy. My dealer friend. What a guy. He watches out for any toners in any denominations that may come his way. :)

I am going to try to one more time but there is no good reason to slab that ASE. It will cost more than it’s worth, especially if you do it as a 1-coin submission. I do not find the coin particularly attractive and although some here seem to like it, I don’t think you’ll be able to sell it for a premium (in or out of a holder). Would you have bought this coin in a slab for $80?

In that case, totally understandable. Authenticity is a huge issue for Silver Eagles.

There are fake everythings out there. I know that. That something exists doesn’t make it a significant issue.
