Is there a site that shows current values of Morgan rotated dies? The rotated die site is so old and not up to date.

    I would call that a "Medal Turn" coin. Not sure about others, but, as a medal collector, that sounds more impressive to me.

    As for prices, I would just check Heritage, Stack's or WorthPoint for eBay.

    A Medal-turn Morgan would be a neat coin for a Morgan specialist, for sure. I would bet there aren't a whole lot of them out there.

    Actually the 78cc is one of the most common "rotated reverse die" out there. As for 180 degrees, that I do not know. However, I've owned many that were 45 to 90. Not as rare as one would think and I sure Fred will confer.

    Being a CC Morgan collector, that would interest me, but more from a curiosity point of view. So sometime this week I will check my CC's for rotated reverse.... Stay tuned... ;) Cheers, RickO

    One of my fav aspects of the 1839o $2 1/2 is that the near fraction die pair comes in medallic alignment 180% rotated
