I still remember seeing an MS62 DMPL Morgan that made me say wow. Had a look that was more impressive than most 65s. You never know what will take your breath away in coins.
That's not on personal stationary, a 6 year-old could have written that....

Obviously given the jump in value, it has to go in for full-point reconsideration at least once prior to sale. I will never get 64 money for it in a rattler.

while technically a tomb as it will never get in a better holder than that, it is a fairly posh tomb. He is right that is a great coin, you just don't find seated stuff that unmessed with

Must have been. I can tell you the guy who sold it to me bought it off of Fred Weinberg at his shop in 1989, but I talked to Fred about it and he doesn't remember where it came from. I did a good run through all the auction catalogues in the late 1980's but didn't find anything resembling this in description or pics, so there's a chance it just walked in and Fred bought it over the counter?

I got a nice note from david hall on a trade dollar back in the day. It is a old school dealer thing I suspect as they at their core are coin nerds. We will see if this level of service survives the corporatazation of the hobby.
