Scroll down to around post 50 to see the grades and my comments.

For this holiday week I finally got a few minutes to relax and actually looked through my collection a couple days ago. Ya know, they're actually pretty fun to look at once in a while. Too bad it involves a drive and business hours. Here's a nice mix of a bunch of random stuff from my type collection. Again, all three of these coins are in PCGS plastic. No clues about straight-grades vs details grades or CAC status this time. These are my photos, and the photo technique is reasonably consistent between the three.

Guess the assigned grades. May the odds be ever in your favor.....

65 (I almost guessed 64, due to the dark color, but the coin sure looks clean.)
68FB (No doubt, from the incredible group of 1939-D dimes.)
63 (even though my initial impression was 55-58.)

64 - the reverse looks to have picked up some cabinet friction.
66+FB - not quite a sharp enough strike to merit a 67 but very close.
55 - a high grade original coin that has seen some circulation.

    All glory is fleeting.

64 - a little too dark on the obverse to go gem, but I can definitely believe that it's just the photos that make it appear this way. If it's as bright as the reverse is, I think a 5 is likely.
67+FB - gorgeous, but the weaker obverse strike plus the two ticks right in the focal spots (cheek on the obverse and middle of the bundle of sticks on the reverse) keeps it from 8 for me
53 - This is the kind of coin that'd go 55 at NGC. Zero luster, but just a darn nice circ coin.

    Edit to add some rationale.

A lot of people are guessing that the half is AU, and after looking at it blown up, I'd likely agree with them even though my initial guess was 63. Attractive coin no matter the grade.

Regardless of how good or bad my guesses end up being, the half was the one that gave me a hard time. I’d be very surprised if I’m off by more than a point on the other two coins. But I can’t say the same for the half.😬

All fantastic coins. As you may know, I'm a big fan of A&R halves!

I agree with this, and it appears that at least one of us will be way off on the half. I came down in grade when I blew it up and asked myself at what grade would Bryce have happily bought and kept the coin.

I think you’re a minimum of 10 points off and I’m a maximum of 8. Not that I’ll be bragging if both of those numbers come into play.😉

The flying eagle cent looks 63+ to me, really nice original looking type coin (as are all 3 coins)
The dime I'll say 67+ FSB, outstanding eye appeal and nicely struck and bumped for the toning.
The arrows and rays half, quintessential type coin, this looks like a nice 55+ from here, not seeing how this could be in an MS holder, but considering how badly I undergraded the previous 3, last thread, maybe it is but no sticker then, the other two would bean imo

After reading the responses and looking closer at the half I will have to say that I think it is AU and maybe 55.
