Grade posted toward end of thread.
I know it's well-nigh impossible to grade proofs from images, but curious to get feedback on this coin from the forum. I'll post the grade in about 24 hours. Thanks in advance.

MS69?? just my guess, although it looks to be better, maybe a perfect 70! Great Looking Coin.
What are the ripples on his neck? guess MS68
I’ll guess PF66. Always a safe grade from an image of a modern proof coin.
Not sure, perhaps die polishing artifacts? It's a proof, not a business strike.
PF-68. Not sure if cameo or not.

The ripples on the neck are in the dies for 1964 proofs and also in 1965 SMS halves. Could be on more dates too.

PF 67 is not a cheap coin, This one might be PF 67 cam.

It's folly to try to grade proof coins from photos, but I'll guess PF67. It is frosted but not quite full cameo based on the images IMHO.

I think the numismatic term for that is 'heavily de-accented hair'.
It looks very nice. So considering how easy it is to grade proofs from images, my guess is 66-68.😉 I will also guess that it just missed the Cameo designation.

In a roundabout way, yes. But that’s not how the game is played. It’s his uncanny ability to always read through a remark/question and expose the reality that I love about him.

Wait a minute! Accented Hair? I missed that the first go round and anytime there’s a variety you get an extra point for style. So it’s either 68 or 67 cameo I’ll go with the latter.
Several folks nailed it, and everybody was in the ballpark. PCGS graded the coin PR67.
For those interested in the backstory: Sometime in the late aughts, I stopped at a dealer's table at LB where there was a large bowl of low-priced coins. I quickly pawed through them and this half (in an NGC PF67 holder) really caught my eye. I don't collect Kennedys (the series is mainly clad), but have always liked the design, and figured this would make a great type coin. For $35, I didn't even have to check the price guides before pulling the trigger.
Fast forward about ten years: I had been using NGC boxes to store my collection, even though 95% of my collection was PCGS, because they accommodated all the major companies' slabs. Then PCGS redesigned their slabs and they no longer fit into NGC boxes, so I switched to using PCGS boxes, which won't hold NGC slabs. I decided to cross (or sell) my handful of NGC slabs at that point, so I could organize the coins as I wanted instead of keeping a separate NGC box for their slabs. I've never liked the aesthetics of NGC slabs anyway, although (brilliant/cameo silver) proofs look better in them than most other coins, IMO.
So, I cracked the Kennedy and sent it in with a few other raw coins, thinking it had about a 50/50 shot at getting either a plus or CAM designation, maybe even both. No such luck. That was the same submission where I cracked a Texas commem from an NGC 67 CAC holder, and it came back MS65! I think I also lost a point on a Merc dime that I cracked from an ANACS holder. Definitely my worst submission ever, and why I rarely submit raw coins anymore. The graders definitely woke up on the wrong side of the bed that day, but it's not worth taking another shot on the half even though it might get a CAM if submitted again (and maybe again).

Interesting. Here is a 67cam I bought back in 1997. Just goes to show you can't accurately grade from photos.

I think this is the first time on the forum's GTG threads that I have ever guessed the correct grade.
Avery nice coin and it definitely has eye appeal and contrast between the fields and the devices.
