A thread, for nickels. Please share some nice ones.

Over the years I've seen lots of threads here, but I don't recall seeing too many asking for nickels. Buffalos get plenty of love, and Jeffersons have a solid following but many of the others get left out. The PCGS Nickel Type set includes only 9 coins, with no particularly difficult types. They include:
3-cent nickel
Shield, with rays
Shield, no rays
Liberty Head, no "CENTS"
Liberty Head
Buffalo type 1
Buffalo type 2
Jefferson
Jefferson Wartime
I suppose you should probably add the Westward Journey coins and the portrait Jefferson obverse coins, but they haven't updated the set definition for a while it seems.
For starters, here are the first three in my type set:

I own a couple of Buffaloes and a run of WWII-era proof Jeffersons. Here's my most recent addition from forum member @badger :

I know buffalos are probably over represented but I just can't help myself. The last three are proofs.
Here’s a few raw ones from my album I have lying around somewhere, pictures from about 15 years ago that I found on a thumb drive recently🌞

Here are three from my type set.

Here's a run-of-the-mill, untoned type one, MS66+ (from my friend @crazyhounddog).

I have two nice ones. Both with full steps

@BryceM , I absolutely love each of your three MS examples from your Type Set.
I’ve chosen to go the Proof version route, since many of these are lower in price as Proof, compared to the same grade in MS, keeping in mind for Registry purposes, Cameos count as one grade point higher.
By the way, great idea for this thread, since as you correctly point out, other than Buffalos, which indeed have a great design, other nickels are sometimes ignored.

How do you even get a nickel to turn lazer blue?
Here are the only 3 nickels in my 20th century set. Actually was hard to find a modest V nickel that was more gray than brown. Mine looks like someone sneezed on it, which is also typical.

Used to have a full set, but sold most of it. I did keep all the keys. This one is my favorite!

I got this along with a "cent one " that was in pretty bad shape. I had them both graded and was trying to get a poor grade, all I managed to get was a "damaged" coin because of a scratch I didn't see.

I didn't see the last half of your title, here is a nice Jefferson....
I'm now thinking of starting this type series - all great pics. Thank you for the suggestion, BryceM. Here is my first addition.
Here's one of the few mechanical errors I have. Picked it up for $10 at a local dealers shop 15 years ago.

I think this was the first proof Jefferson I ever purchased. I've always loved the look of this one, even though it's essentially untoned.
Post motivated me to go looking in the old albums. Forgot I has this.
