I think I just caught the gold bug thanks to @pursuitofliberty SLQ thread. I fell in love with those pics but quickly fell out after looking at the prices. I could blame @jwitten as well with his beautiful gold but gold seems to be a safer bet for me right now.

The few dings on the front in front of the neck and the ding on the reverse rim may bring it down to details grade. May have some wiping lines on the front as well. Looks like a nice low MS if not for those.
I'd give it a 62.
Okay well I have some homework to do with a new series. It’s my first purchase so I don’t mind if i’m upside down a bit.
I won it at 360.00 and the price guide is 400.00 at the lowest grade. Question now is will it grade.

I really have a hard time grading these unless I have them in hand, but my first impression was very similar to @jwitten and @koynekwest
It's either a 58/62 if it grades straight, or it get's a details due to the hairlines that appear to be in front of the face and above the brow, and another issue. Something is going on between stars 8 and 9 (reverse between U and N).
Also, for what it's worth I would say also that the coin has probably been dipped (a little too bright), and you may want to look for a little more skin next time.

@pursuitofliberty Yes, the skin was the first thing I realized after looking at photograde pics. Already owned it at that point though. Hopefully not cleaned but again it’s a first.
Gold always seems to grade higher then the grade I would give it, so I will say MS63, but I really don't like that nick on the reverse between the U and the N.

I would think the seller and the other bidders were savvy enough to know it would details and stopped where they did. I will have it graded though what’s another 40. So if it details out I basically have melt on value?
No, these are almost always worth a decent amount above melt unless there are major issues. If it details, bust it out and keep it raw. Still a nice looking coin!
I think the lines are from the roller mill. I have a few like that.

Looks like a decent MS62. I don't see any problems serious enough to keep it from straight grading. Let us know how they grade it.

Possibly details, cleaned. Otherwise MS61. Some contact marks / scratches on left obv field.
There can be lots risk / downside buying these raw. These sellers are not rookies.

Which I gladly did versus rolling back up, time is of the essence. Which I'll have even more of now because, all of that is in the rearview mirror.

Beautiful coin! I'm not knowledgeable enough to throw an opinion on grade though. I can't help but notice that's a lot of pennies in the coinstar!!! Hope they were all zinc's 😉

You push start, put coins in and it immediately adjusts its cut from your total.

Considering that I'm retired and how much time I spend here my time apparently isn't worth that much. LOL. I always spend my change as fast as I get it so I would never get in the situation that you described. Many banks and credit unions will take bulk coins if you have an account there. Also, some stores have Coin star machines that have the option of receiving a paper voucher for the full amount if the voucher is used to buy merchandise at that store. I'm guessing that Coin Star gets some rebate from the store.

That doesn’t even take into account driving around from bank to bank and then spending hours at home mulling over all of the pennies.
Now, I spend more time at my business making sales (translation a lot more money) and spending more quality time with my family. Then you can sprinkle in buying coins that are actually Tangible it’s a win win win situation.
I would like to think a high percentage of collectors went through the same steps I just graduated from.
Don’t get me wrong I thoroughly enjoyed it, it’s very relaxing, and I might even find myself doing it again in the very near future. Just not now.
At some point you have to assess the situation and ask yourself. Self, what are we doing here. You've spent countless hours and dollars going through umpteen billion pennies and you have one MS 68 that is priced at $80 and would be lucky to sell it for 50.
