The problem is that you wife knows about your coins in the first place.
Do what I do, show her a few here and there, but never show her the whole stash.

I have been downsizing slabs to 5 boxes. Sort of like roster of FB team. Graded currency has increased takes up much less space.

I have tried to hide my stash from the Mrs. but have had no luck in doing so. Do you think that she is wise to why all those new safes keep suddenly appearing in the house? I tell her they are for "important" paper work and sweets.

I have had a lot more problems with my wife than my coins. The coins are very well behaved, they just sit there and cause no problems.

Are you still married? If not, you likely sleep, so much better, and have a lot more money in the bank, now that she's gone. Some women are wonderful but others are just trouble, IMHO.

OK, so what happens when a bomb goes off and debris covers all your escape points? How do you get out?
I am and women are fine, only anything that does more than sit and look pretty is more trouble than a coin.
No problem with my wife either and if there ever is, I will just remind her that I can actually resale unlike her shoes.
If her shoes are limited edition basketball sneakers, those can be resold
You can't play basketball in 4" heels, although it could be entertaining.

I can think of:
I always get a kick out of the expression, "My wife lets me do whatever I want." Think about it......she "LETS" you do what you want? Who's kidding who?
To be clear, "let" means that our kids are taken care of, so if the kids are safe, taken care of, and protected, I can do whatever the heck I want.
