Happy Birthday!! Yes I remember pull cords... I still use one every week or so in the summer.
Oh- I clicked on the link YES! When I was a kid my friend's neighbor had one of these and he also sufferred from parkinsons - not a nice sight to see him trying to fumble with his mower- so we'd go over there and he'd let us do the winding for him.
Ah, the good old days! Damn that brings back good memories.
