A new arrival ... deep dark rim color and heavy thick crust

Show 'em if you got 'em

I have quite a few crusty CBH's :) This series was my first focus and I know it's a series I will come back to later.

Nice and crusty, Todd. Looks to be the O.118. AU55 feels right.

Another "laced lips" variety, though not as recognized as the '33 O.106.

Although a different die was used for O.101 and O.102 these two also show the same die line appearing to seal Liberty's lips and her lips to chin. No doubt a graving error to the new MD, which also produced improved relief along with alteration tweaks (e.g. the cap is now larger with deeper creases, the cheek is rounder and fuller, Liberty's gaze is less skyward, and the entire bust has been shortened).

    Cool coin!
    Lance.

Even Lincoln has been known to sport a nice pair of fangs along with his laced lips :)

Some coins are just plain "Interesting"
