I love DMPL’s. Let’s see yours.

I am thinking about buying some DMPL’s. I have no interest in building a set, but buying a few nice pieces here and there.
Please show us yours.

I like them but have never bought one. Maybe down the road.
Not a great picture but my only DMPL:
I really like the looks of DMPL's. I only own one PL and hope to at least get one DMPL one day.

How about DMPL Canadian Dollars to have a numismatic "double play" for your interest areas.

Nice! I like the set.
DMPL’s are magnificent looking when they really are a DMPL. Be careful if you do buy one. A lot of DMPL’s in older holders by today’s standards are not DMPL.
Here you go.
I think if I were to own a Morgan, it would be a DMPL.

Always looking for one-sided (obverse) monster DMPL’s.... 🤠

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
I love DMPLs. I have about 20 and maybe 25 more in PL. Not many Trueviews of them though.
I picked this up for $25 raw and got it in an NGC MS63DMPL holder. 12"+ mirrors. I'd say that was a decent deal.
Thanks it's pretty neat how different they can appear in dmpl
I really like those CC DMPL's....Now I am thinking of something I have not considered for a decade or so....Maybe upgrading my CC Morgan series....
Cheers, RickO
Here one of mine. I just bought one and it is in the mail, will probably share when it arrives likely end of week.

Now that's probably the only way I'll get one also. Lol Nice!

U.S. Type Set
This thread motivated me to check some out tonight, but I only found PL ones I could afford, and the pics didn't look all that PL...and then blew all my money (and then some
) on other less-cool things (still coins I'm excited to get in the mail later this week or next). I'll have to go back to saving up and being more intentional.
DPL? Yeah, I have a few of those. 64DPL - only one in the series:
Found my old images of a nice 90 CC

Haven't taken the coin out of the SB in more years than I will admit.
Coin is in an old ANACS slab
Well now, there's a gorgeous piece! I have a PL from that series, but no DPL.
Just got the TrueView for this one. My first Morgan DMPL and found it raw. I don't only collect Jeffs...

No designation. I have been told by people whose opinion I trust that it would at least go PL but that PCGS didn't list them as such back when this was slabbed in an OGH.

That looks similar to mine posted above. It's always hard to judge from pictures, but yours might even have deeper mirrors than mine. Very nice!
Here's another one I'm super thrilled with. Switzerland 5 Batzen, graded 66 DPL:
Beautiful cameo!! God I miss my Dimple collection that I sold 20 years ago.
Hard to find in GSA holder. Purchased this raw and got graded!
Here's another:

Breathtaking!!
I do have a Morgan as well - 65+ DPL
Here is my most recent acquisition. Got it in the mail yesterday. Nice strike for an o mint. Not really any major marks, just ticks scattered on obverse.

There is more to DPLs than Morgans! Here's a Kennedy, 65 DPL
some pretty amazing coins in here!
@airplanenut - nice newp!
@physicsfan314 - fantastic b/s dpl !!!! - i noticed in that range, 75,76,77 etc there are a few PL. - i have a 77s that once i manage to get sent off, will have a chance at PL.
@Mitchell - that 83cc is a great example to show the clashing on a dmpl but the clashing as regular b/s surfaces. always loved the look of that.
Newp? I got that in 2004

Here's one of mine. I love a good frosty DMPL. The closest I'll ever come to a proof morgan with cameo...
I know you all know about the infamous recent release of Kennedy halves with special finishes where many of them graded DPL.
Did you know that there were DPLs in the 80's, too? This one graded 65 DPL
