The stats are not too accurate. It takes a while for it to recognize you’re not on any longer. Guests also include various web robots/crawlers and bots that want to spam the board.
Just reporting on the "Who's Online in this Category" at the time of my post......hey, don't shoot me...I'm only the piano player.
Lol its an interesting stat but it can be misleading, for instance I never log off unless the system logs me off. So while I may be considered on-line by the counter 24/7 I am not actually active but a fraction of that time.

They’re automated programs. The crawlers are taking in the text and digesting it for search engines or similar. The bots are programs that try to create accounts and post on forums with virus links, ad links, or just spam.
