Picked this up today at the first local (Twin Cities Minnesota) show that I've been to in six months. It felt good to be at a show. I saw a bunch of friends that I have't seen since COVID started in March. Masks were mandatory, dealers had to be six feet apart, and basically only one person was supposed to be at one table at a time. That didn't work out so well, but for the most part, people socially distanced. One of the rules was that those attending had to write down their names, phone numbers, and email addresses. There was person I saw who refused to do this, and they were not admitted. These were rules the hotel demanded and were in the contract signed with the show promoter in order to have the show. All in all it was refreshing, and I hope it's a harbinger of things to come as far as more shows are concerned.

Anyway, GTG. Go!

    Beautiful color on that one!

    The hotel did the right thing in refusing that person entry. If you don't wanna follow the rules then turn around and go back home.

    So, the hotel now has all the information they need should an employee want to decide to burgle you. After all, every attendee was looking to buy or sell coins and currency and bullion. At least there was one wise person that walked. I too would have done the same.
    I sure hope that all employees of that hotel keep that information safe and secure. Did they provide you any assurance that they would do so?

    Short show report, but at least there was a show..... Looks like the show barrier has been officially 'broken', albeit with new guidelines. That is good news - second show report today. That Texas Commemorative does look like a 67. Cheers, RickO

    Instead of flag, quote, agree, like , and lol (as ways to participate);
    we should get eye appeal, luster, strike detail , and love.

    Love is a strong word, but you get the picture.

    That's a beauty. Hard to gauge the luster from the tru-view but it has color in all the right places. I'll guess 66.

    You give all that information PLUS a valid credit card number when you stay in a hotel. What's the difference?

    Valid point. However, I should have phrased by statement differently as the hotel is just the venue.
    The difference is that the hotel is just the venue. I seriously doubt that any hotel employees are working the show.

    Very nice Texas! I like it as a 67(+). I think it will have trouble getting any higher due to the rim damage next to the A and the slight weakness of states. I could be wrong, I'm not a grader.

    Looks like it toned in a older PCI or Hallmark holder.

    Back in the OGH days only ANACS would slab a Texas with that type of toning.
