    I think that will be a “short” - “long “ year ... Sort of like the early 1960s when few people came to the games ... Wait there will be no one in the stands.

    For Red Sox fans, this will be a mercifully shot season.

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    No, typing on an iPad. I met to say “short,” but “shot” applies too. It won’t be worth the electricity to run the
    TV if you are looking to contend for anything. If you enjoy baseball for the game’s sake, okay.
