I bought this just for fun over the weekend. Any chance it would make P01 ??
With my loupe, I can just make out the top of the 9 and 3. ( I think... maybe it's the top of a 2 )
Either way, I love the dirt still on it.

If the year can be determined definitively then I think you have a good shot at P01.

It's amazing that a coin can wear like that.
I cannot determine the date in that picture.... However, if our host can, then surely it will be a PO1. Cheers, RickO
How do you know that it's an 1893? Here is an Unc. that was in one of those leather covers the coins were sold in during the expo. You can look for the date on the OP coin. The trouble is, if you can't see the date, you can't get a grade.

That's a Poor 1/2 on wear. But if the date can't be determined it can't be certified.

Lowball registry is correct. There are only 6 graded if I remember right.

If a date can be determined from that piece . . . it is a double-dog mortal lock for P-01. I would be my house on it. (I live in SLC if you want to take me up on it!)
