I turned 65 this morning at approximately 3:01 AM, so go ahead and take a shot, tell me something I need to know, something I may have forgotten and the Joy you've found in the Hobby that I may be missing.

Al H.

Me and Bowser!!

Apologies to Zoins, but I love this medal.

I'm roughly the same age - the good news is that in our birth year, a wonderful doubled-die Lincoln Cent was born, too. :)

I feel blessed for sure. I remember reading the Complete Journals of Lewis and Clark, the speculation being that the only Expedition member who died succumbed to Appendicitis. he would have died in the most modern Hospital in World at that time. mine ruptured when I was 12. had that happened in 1920 I probably would have died.

Thank God for Medical advances. o:)

We were going to put 65 candles on your cake, but we were afraid a jet might mistake it for a runway.

Turning 65 means sometimes you laugh so hard the tears run down your leg.

You know you’re turning 65 when you start ordering drive-up food at a mailbox.

When you hit 65, “Rock ‘n Roll” no longer describes your music, but your chair options: rocking or wheel.

What’s the best thing about turning 65?
No more calls from life insurance salesmen.

We wanted to put 65 candles on your cake, but it would have been the size of a coffin.

If you do what you always did, you get what you always got.

Think of it as an upgrade from 64. Or you have the option to officially remain 64 but affix a gold sticker to your forehead. Jokes aside, I've always considered you a gem.

    OK, that's all I got. :p

Wait, one more thing: Happy Birthday!

There's probably not much that you have missed by now. Maybe try getting back to the basics and do what you did that was exciting and fun when you first became interested in the hobby.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY DUDE!
65 means nothing. It all depends how one feels in your heart. You know, "Young at Heart." As we get older we all suppose to be wiser. Well my friend, your wisdom and knowledge of coins here on our forum, definitely shows! You taught me many things in this old Hobby of Kings. Keep up the good work and more importantly, continue to have FUN while you're still here!
Have a BLESSED Day, my friend.
    HAPPY BIRTHDAY. <3

    Happy Birthday Al (keets)!

"How many babies were born on July 7, 1955?

Base on the data published by the United Nations Population Division, an estimated 99,438,148 babies were born throughout the world in the year 1955. The estimated number of babies born on 7th July 1955 is 272,433. That’s equivalent to 189 babies every minute. Try to imagine if all of them are crying at the same time."
