Not a collector of Morgans; however high grade Proof Morgans are stunning coins. It is nice to see Morgans without the marks, scratches, gouges and other flaws so often found on circulation strikes of these large silver coins.

So true SanctionII...They really are unique, and particularly beautiful when they are originally toned, untouched for decades. Very rare..... Like little Monet's of the Numismatic world.

Both great coins! I think I'd prefer the 1881 if I had to choose. The 1880 toning is later stage and it may be difficult to enjoy the colors or the depiction shown when it's in the holder.

While I am not a fan of tarnish (sooprise, sooprise) ;) those are beautiful Morgans...real quality in condition and strike. Cheers, RickO

No doubt sweet coins in-hand. ⭐️⭐️ But I dislike those TruView glamour shots .... 😖 Give me the NON-glamour TruView version every time ...or just humble cell pics including the slabs.

I love both of them and believe there are far too few coins left looking like this. Nice job.

Both are very nice coins ... As for me personally ... I don't care for toning on proof coins.

I am guessing that in natural light the second one would actually have more eye appeal. The first seems to be a candidate for looking steel grey without light hitting it just the right way.

Would love to see both of those in hand.
