Dahlonega $5 Variety with new TrueView

Purchased this 1841-D $5 (Tall D) a while back but just had it crossed-over. Collecting D Mint gold became more interesting once I started focusing on varieties. Research indicates only about 4100 coins of this variety were struck at Dahlonega. Posting here because I know this crowd is forgiving of esoteric collecting behaviors!
Not in hand yet - on a UPS truck somewhere in Texas. Day 5 of the 3 day ‘select’ shipping service. PCGS AU58.

4100 made and attrition means not many of those around. Nice coin and pickup. Pre Civil War gold offers a lot of bang for the buck. Congrats.
Nice old gold... and a Dahlonega .... I do not have any of those....Maybe after this 'dark period' is over...
