Where do you think this 1916D merc dime will grade at?

Not my coin, although I was an underbidder.
Seems like its cleaned from the photos but higher grade than the typical raw 1916D you see these a days. Which grade do you think its at?

Wonder why it's not slabbed??? Also, with the word "inheritance" in the description, that's all you need to know to beat feet.
And I thought my photos were bad. I would have avoided that one.
Bad pictures, not slabbed, that is all.
You lucked out by not winning the auction. Congrats on dodging a bullet.
With that much detail even if it’s cleaned you need to ask yourself why it isn’t slabbed. The 16-D is readily available. I would stay clear in ungraded examples. Good luck with the search
1916-D Mercury dime and "raw" should never appear in the same sentence.
I would bet $1025 on a square at a Vegas roulette table before I would use it to buy that coin. At least I have a tiny chance of winning at roulette.
Stay away. Far away.
Run, far away .....
Dave
Not a chance in H*** I'd bid on that auction
Judging by the pictures and description...no grade, not genuine.
Looks fake to me. I wouldn't touch it.
It will grade counterfeit. Does even look close to being a real counterfeit
RUN Forrest RUN!!!!
Looks counterfeit. Your lucky you didn’t win it.

Yea..........a coin like that and no good pics?
Good night, Irene.

The photos are so bad that this offering would not get to first base for me. This is like betting one number on a roulette wheel with 360 spots, not 36, and 30 sets of “you lose” 00 spots.
I took 12 replies before someone actually answered the OP’s question. And I concur with the answer - not genuine.

Obverse pic on one surface, reverse on another. Probably not even the same coin.

No offense to the OP and apologies in advance, but anyone who bid on that auction is coo coo like a clock.
Spend a little more and get a real one.
The "inheritance" angle is meant to convince bidders that they have found lost treasure, and it gives the buyer an excuse for selling a forgery, or at best a heavily impaired coin.
I would pass.
Only 2 bidders took this one up above $550......likely one Bidiot and the other a shill.
97.4% Seller Feedback. That puts them squarely in the bottom 1% of all Ebayers. Yikes. You only get that kind of FB two ways. Either being a martyr and landing on land mines for the good of the hobby....or you have little integrity.
Seller's 1901 "unc" Morgan is atrocious.

Baby shark............run away....do do do do do do......

Lol, I have to sing that part of the song to my grandson.
But back to coins, yep agree, with others here, you dodged a bullet. Fake and horrible pics. No chance of a win to be had.

Where will it grade at? Most likely wherever it's sent to.
What will it grade at? Dunno.
