Wow quite nutty for sure. I guess being locked inside ppl dont care bout the funds anymore. Looks to me like the color market is only super nuts online not at local shows even when they where open.

Maybe it’s different at different shows, but the ones I attended (ANA, Central States, a few smaller local ones) had prices just as high if not higher for the majority of toned coins (compared to auction results).

I guess every spot has its differences with toners. If i ever sell anything I'll guess it will go to GC lol.
Thanks guys. I might have to have my avatar graded now. But, the OP coin looks like it was found in a ladies makeup handbag. The purse may have been rare too

It's gorgeous and it has Cac n Cheese...
But it's from the Sunset collection. And maybe the most devout collector had to have it. Being the consignee would be fruitful.

I believe it is poor form to comment on genuine coins currently up for auction. For many reasons and discussed here multiple times before.
No offense EFP. Have no equity or interest in the coin and not trying to be a Sheriff.

There have been some very pretty toners in this collection, including this one!

Still going up and with 19 hours left.
I'm not trying to justify it, but this is the trifecta that seems to lead to auction results like this.
This is when a seller's elation suddenly goes:
"What am I missing here? Maybe I shouldn't sell it. What am I missing? Maybe I should keep it."
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
I bet the bidder is hoping for a 67 or 68 on regrade.
Is there some rare error or variety that people bidding are seeing?
$5,062.50 all in.
Congrats all around and adjust your future bids accordingly.

Where do you find the pop. report for BN 1954? Not listed on the Price guide unless D/D/D.
Is this a stupid question...
PCGS #2816. If you click the '+' icon, there's a line titled "Base" followed by the D/D/D pops.
On the PCGS home page menu bar. There is a Pop Report option.
