Looks UNC details
I would not spend almost $8k on a raw '89-CC based on those photos.
Someone has taken a big gamble.
I don't know if it's fake or not, but the color seems off and the image looks off. Don't know why someone would have that rare date in that condition and not have it certified.

The photos are clearly hiding things. I can’t speak to genuine or not but I would imagine it won’t straight grade anywhere. I certainly wouldn’t buy that coin in any circumstance.
Assuming it’s a legitimate buyer, I continue to be amazed at the things people buy sometimes. And I wonder why these people are never around when I sell something...
My opinion is AU details, cleaned and retoned.

@MFeld is absolutely correct, cleaned and at'd.

I almost wanna say it is whizzed!
The toning looks off to me. I don't care for that coin.
Something looks off. And the seller has to be hiding something which those pictures.

The photos make it appear counterfeit to my eye, but it could be the lighting.
I agree with Mark... that coin has been 'worked on' and the pictures are deceptive....Someone lost money, and it was not the seller. Cheers, RickO
I finally had one the other day (not coins). Told him that inventory wasn't for sale and repeated myself until the money was just so good that I almost felt bad. In these cases I'm really not one to argue. I was being silly when I gave one offer and he took it just crushed it. ("Is silly offer + moon money okay, then?").
But sure, whatever you'd like sir, here's a listing of or full inventory and a VIP pass, discounts rewards and some swag.
Could also be cleaned and then dipped with dip residue.
I thought Ebay didn't allow consigners to put grades on uncertified coins any more.
This date often comes P-L, marked as such or not, when the coin is in Mint State. I don't see that on this one. It looks dull with re-toning, maybe AT re-toning.
