This from a seller named morganlover58, an edynamicmarketing wannabe. Dude must really hate Washingtons, tho.

    Looks like rainbow sherbet!

It wouldn't surprise me if that coin had an added mint mark. If that were my coin, I'd dip it.

I really like the date and mint mark on that coin!

He's not restricting his talents to just Washingtons. High grade circulated Seated Half Dollars are in play, too.

    And we can't forget commems.

I noticed a Stone Mountain earlier today on eBay that looked like that. Guess who was the seller.

Calling those coins doctored are an insult to the real coin doctors....That is the work of a janitor.... ;) Cheers, RickO

Agree. This guys coins don't look anything like natural toning. A real coin doctor makes their AT coins look natural and their coins get slabbed since their toning is MA (market acceptable).

I've started to comment about 5 times on this and get frustrated each time.
The juiced TV's, cooked coins and devious descriptions are all too much.
    It's just such an insult.

Chances are he bought trashed coins to start with as his "canvas." At least I hope that's the case.

The quarter looks fooled with. Can't tell with the others.

Many AT coins can be dipped resulting in a market acceptable coin.

I think the quarter is beyond redemption.

  • ElmerFusterpuckElmerFusterpuck Posts: 4,808 ✭✭✭✭✭

Just saw his listings earlier, had to fix some blown pixels from that blatant AT/saturation. He does have a handful of neutral feedbacks, a few are telling:

    Coin was cleaned /artificial Toning
1915 S Panama-Pacific Commemorative Silver Half Dollar BU Beautiful Coin. 710

    Coin looked nothing like pic
1933 SAINT GAUDENS DOUBLE EAGLE DESIGN LARGE 1 OZ Ounce Copper ROUND. <-- maybe the pic made it look gold?

Coin was cleaned. Seller should have known. Left nuetral
1884 P DMPL MORGAN SILVER DOLLAR CAMEO KEY DATE .

His listings are a good place to train your eyes if you are new to toning. Then you will be more educated on AT and photo twerking.

You have to remember that some collectors just plain like this stuff. They do not care how it became to be the way it
looks, just that it looks so cool to them. we can critizise edynamicmarketing but they seem to have found their
nitch. They would not be posting all those AT coins unless people were buying them.

True but I don't think it's wise to be paying the crazy money some of these sell for.

Looking at the feedback there are many buyers who like the coins.
