Why the BS&T is my favorite place to shop...

OuthaulOuthaul Posts: 7,440 ✭✭✭✭✭

As many of you are aware, I am a huge supporter of the BS&T forum. I enjoy nothing more than enriching those who I am in daily contact with. We almost ALWAYS come to some sort of terms. I have purchased most of my coins there from the most trustful people I know. Here are just a few reasons why I love doing business there:

  1. No hassles
  2. You're dealing with people you know and trust
  3. I have NEVER had to return ANYTHING
  4. There are NEVER any glitches
  5. You get nice little packages on nearly a daily basis like this...

Thanks @Mistercoinman

I just completed my first purchase on the BST from @ astrorat. Mailed a check for payment and received my purchase without any issues. I plan to continue shopping on the BST. Thanks to @astrorat.

I completely agree Bob... I have used the BST for several purchases over the years, and it is my preferred venue.... Although I have not done a lot of buying for the last year or so, if I am looking for a coin or bullion, the BST is always my first choice....Cheers, RickO

I have even posted (probably not a great use of bandwidth) how happy I have been with every purchase there. I wish there were more Type Coins, but I have had great success with VBowling 299 and BidAsk just recently . . .and many more in the past. Easy . . . simple. Yes . . I run into the occasional newby who thinks I may be the Son of Sam . . . but most know me in the Circle of Trust. It is fun to deal here on the BST . . . . .

Great place to buy. But don't expect a bonanza when selling.

Working in a B&M, there's more than enough to get in person, but, without a doubt, if there's something on the BST, I would not hesitate to trade there.

I remember wanting to flesh-out my Dansco type album with a few mid-grade missing coins and sure enough a couple of seasoned collectors came to my rescue. Now, these were not high dollar coins- maybe like $200. per purchase, yet these collectors took the time to find the coins within their inventory and package them well. Each was perfect for what it was and in fact in one case the coin was better than described.

I have yet to buy anything on the BST; however late last year and early this year I sold a number of items on the BST to multiple forums members (some who I have dealt with before and some I have not dealt with before). These transactions went smoothly and I was pleased to sell some of my extras to other forumites.

I will be listing other item for sale on the BST in the near future and hope to have additional good experiences.

I check it every day and have had nothing but positive experiences both as a buyer and frequent seller. It's one of the funnest aspects of this hobby we all share.

While I share the sentiments of everyone and also have had great buying experiences on the BST its always best to do a little checking on who your dealing with. The BST is not without some thorns from time to time, the Cameron Keefer issues and the member that was gassing and selling Morgans in old rattlers are a couple that immediately come to mind and there have been others. Always best to do a little due diligence if your not familiar with the other party.

BST is definitely a great place to buy and sell. Just have to make sure you are selling good material at good prices and you're doing your due diligence on the parties you're conducting business with.

Purchased some nice pre-33 gold from @nankraut recently that I am very happy with!
