One for the D roll call.... Cheers, RickO

The earliest coin I can remember having was 1912-D Liberty Nickel. The earliest image I found in my files was my 1934-D DDO $1

I was born in Denver less than two miles from the Denver Mint (the old St. Luke's hospital which has since been torn down). So here's a D mint from my birth year!
Oh, and today is also my oldest daughter's Birthday!
You beat me by a couple miles. But I beat you by a couple years.
Here is my birth year and birth place Denver Mint (not quite) product:

The 1st year Denver made a saint was 1908
They started with no motto coins and then switched.
It seems they had a lot of problems getting the D straight in the beginning

The most die rotation of any saint is also noted in the 1908-D NM called "F-15 eagle".

In addition to all of the US coins, the Denver mint participated in the US mint's production of coins for many foreign nations from the 1920s through the 1970s. Most don't have the D mint mark, but a few do from the WWII era. Here's a 1945-D cent from the Netherlands East Indies (now Indonesia) and a 1945-D ten centavos from the (US-administered) Philippines:
@CoinJunkie That 57-D is AMAZING.
Gonna get me a $50 Octagonal someday. Some. Day.
1971-D $1 Friendly Eagle Variety FS-901
This variety has special significance for the Denver Mint, as I believe it has the distinction of being the only design variety (of any U.S. denomination) minted exclusively at Denver.
