You will have to be more specific what you are referring to.

Looks like some pitting damage to the Indians nose... and perhaps a scrape on the hair (unless that is a trace of a lamination).

Reverse side.. perhaps a small die crack through the mint mark?

It's a normal Mintmark. It flattened a little from being close to the rim. Buffalo Nickels are seen with that flat look from time to time.
