I love them! They are big coins and although the design isn’t the prettiest they sometimes come with great color. I am working on building the finest collection of toned MS Ikes. Here are a few:

I like the silver ms pieces.

The coin is so big it's a shame they didn't take the obverse in a different direction. They really had an opportunity with such a big canvas.

I've had this one for a while.. No colors like the above coins, but I've always liked that it is mark free. Absolute clean fields which I think can be tough to find..

I just had a thread about Ike's. The variety aspect. It's funny, there's a limit to the Ike dollar. Not as abundant as other denominations. What, about 12 different coins? At least these are the most interesting dollar since the Peace dollar!
No comparison to the Susan B. Anthony, Sac. Dollar or the Presidents Dollar.

Big Ike fan here. I have a Capital plastic holder that was put together in 1988. A filled Dansco and I am working on a complete PCGS set. Only missing the 1972 type II and type III.

I like Ike's and to me, this is the only coin that I like with color on them or without. I believe that they are one of the best value coins to collect today that doesn't break the bank and you can get them with 40% silver. I like the look of the coin, moreso the reverse, its big and again, 40% silver. I can see these coins having a lot more value in years to come, especially as more and more people collect them.

Inauguration medal of Eisenhower, designed by Gilroy Roberts (obverse) and Frank Gasparro (reverse).
Interestingly, the reverse uses the same device as the trillion-dollar coin that is being touted.
