    I found it to be one of the best articles about old gold I have read in awhile. There is a ton of insight, facts and analysis.

    Thanks for posting the link. I saw a number of these coins at SB’s Irvine office. The 1908D motto Indian Eagle graded MS 68 was beautiful.
    I just sat there and held it in my hand, slabbed of course. It looked
    perfect to me. What a pedigree.

    I did not know that some experts like DW
    think the 1841 Philly quarter eagle come in both proof and business strikes. That was also a treasure to behold.

    Clarity of thought often precedes correct action. When it comes to gold, I don't think thoughts get much clearer than the ones Doug shared here. Great article, well-written, and insightful.
