"A clean cheek" I meant a perfect check would warrant a higher grade by 3 points IMHO

I was at 63, too. Nice example!

:D It's true.... after 20+ years on this forum, and never in favor of tarnished coins, it is as much a part of me as my name. Of course, I could change my name :D That would be much easier.... :D Cheers, RickO

    I had it as a 64.

    When in doubt, don't.

Terrific coin. I see the look of the coin as being far more important than the current grade housed in temporary plastic. Nice addition for the date...congrats. I do find myself attempting to explain or justify my gtg opinions on various threads. And the reasoning is not about being right or wrong but just about offering a perspective for what that may be worth. Grading really has a subjective component that is not always easy to quantify with a numeric grade.

Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.

    Saw this post now.

My guess would have been 63+ (which means I would have got a GTG correct which hardly ever happens :D )

    Obv marks = 63
    Color adds the +

Nice Coin that I'd be proud to have in my collection. B)
