My guess is MS63. I’m shocked by any guesses higher than 64, based on Liberty’s cheek, jaw and neck.
Hey Mark - such comments can be placed after the grade is revealed.
You just shot it.
The point of a GTG is to get as many real guesses without comments (yours being professional no less) of shock or disdain for a honest guess.
I'll reveal it sooner as no need to stall on this one further any longer.
I apologize if that bothered you. I will say that when I’ve made similar comments in other threads, I haven’t noticed any effect on others’ posting widely different opinions from mine.

many look up to folks as yourself - and that can easily sway opinion, Peers can sway , I prefer knowing what actual personal opinion is not once other grades are figured in. I've always done that, some I was way off and some high - I don't care, it is my personal opinion of how I see it. But ye no worries apology accepted

Fair grade IMHO. A clean cheek would be 66. Still beautiful.
I don't think it has enough blast for a 66 grade. If if did, those would be about $35k worth of marks on the face.
I see no meaningful deficiency with the “blast”. However, a multitude of coins graded lower than 66 would be transformed into 66’s (or higher) if their flaws were somehow, no longer present. 😉So I don’t really understand the point.

OK, I'll defer to you on the luster. Just noting that depending on the coin, marks on the portrait can be more or less expensive. There really wasn't much of a point, but when did that become a criterion for posting here...?

I would have guessed 64....but that was mainly influenced by the reverse... I should not let that happen, but I like the Morgan reverse...Cheers, RickO

I thought this was a GTG on a nice Morgan. Mark played your game like the rest of the members. OP takes these games way too seriously imho.
agreed, I got carried away - the times have some of us somewhat frazzled a tad.

Nice CC, looks like a 63.

64-65. The cheek dings hurt, but it is very nice overall.
64, shame about the obverse because that reverse is 65 possibly 66 even with the nasty. Congrats!

63 with a shot at 64 because of the toning. I like it a lot.
it's crackers to slip a rozzer the dropsy in snide
I went for the toning! 63 maybe a 64 without the toning because of the hits you pointed out.
I know the grade, and will only say PCGS assigned it pretty much what I would have. Nice-looking coin.
I am thinking 64
