Better than usual Coin Star find.

At Safeways yesterday - hard to believe people just leave this stuff in the reject slot - the dime is a 1964. :+1:

    Great find.
A "better than usual" find for me would be a paper clip or pocket fuzz. :D

I’ve never used a coin star, but I can’t believe people just leave money in them. Lazy or just in a hurry?

I suspect a feverish individual was just in hurry to get a slip to pay for their NyQuil.

Your lucky to have coin star machines to supplement your retirement income. We don't have coin star here in the cornfield....

I figured it out. The coins poured into the Coinstar make quite a racket as the counter sorter gizmo does it's thing. It's loud enough to drown out the reject coins dropping into the reject slot. And there is no message on the screen reminding one to check the reject slot. 27 coins is my largest haul to date. Peace Roy

I made a round of stops checking machines in my area. Did not find anything. Checked on and around every machine as well as the reject slot.

    Great haul. Wow. Well done.

My local Coinstar machine kicks out 90% silver. I find that hilarious.
