Nice herd... Just yesterday, on my way home, I passed a local farm with a large herd of real Buffalo...Yours are a higher grade...but not as tasty Cheers, RickO
I don't think im gonna fill the rest of the set in as gems. Im trying to do a ms60 2 67 grades for the type one a.t.m .Might add one from the 20s and save up for a proof possibly in the future
Just a comment on those ms67 1913 type one nickels, Heritage is now offering them for sale in the 5 to 6 hundred dollar range when slabbed by ngc. Might be a nice time to pick up a really nice type coin.

Ike126 -- I can also remember a time when ms67 pcgs slabbed 1938-d buffs were selling for $1595 and now some going for as low as $195. I got a post card from David Hall Rare Coins and it said the pcgs ms65 buff was a sure bet $1,000 coin!

Wow that's nuts!!! The tpgs are very funny with 67s and 68s ive noticed if it has color they'll bump it just for that even if it has hits in the major focal areas.

Great Start!
That is a nice little herd. Be sure to "keep em" close in the corral so they don't get skinned up on that whet stone.

Great start to a Nice collection are you going for the rest or just the beginning and end issues?

Wouldn't do you any good if you did find them. You can't rollerskate in a Buffalo herd.
nice herd, I like the looks of it
You have the front of the herd and the rear of the herd. Now you have to fill in the middle.
Thats the goal within the year!!
This reminds me that I need to get my own mint state buffalo 😊
Both the first one, the 1913 Variety One and the last one, the 1938-D are very reasonably priced in mid Mint state grades.
Either can do a 66 or 67 combo and not be bankrupt for the rest of the year imho
Well, then I can't be happy...
Nice looking herd.
The type one in 67+ is a real beauty.
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍
