I have had a mild case of gold feaver, but it does not extend to very low grades. This is about as low as I will go. It is a 1713 guinea of Queen Ann.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
Love the ones from the smaller branch mints. I couldn't resist and just couldn't walk away when I had the opportunity on these two. Definitely a sickness!

I must say, that ANACS F2 1875-CC is absolutely dreamy. Love it!

I always kind of look right through these old gold pieces and try to imagine just where the coins were used and the history tied to them. The two Dahlonega coins that I posted spoke to me but no doubt that 75-CC has a LOT of stories to tell!
Gold fever... once infected, forever addicted. I collect gold, I hunt for gold, I stack gold, I wear gold... coins, jewelry, nuggets, dust..... Gold is great.... Cheers, RickO

I feel that there is a bit of disconnect between Gold Fever and Numismatic Fever.
My experience is that it takes two different sets of pills to damp down the separate fevers.
There really is something about gold...….
I knew it would happen.

PS: love the CC
I can understand why the pocket pieces are addictive
A well-known song. I have heard Cyril May sing a shorter and zipper version too, but this is what I could find:
I have this never ending love thing for gold.
I enjoy looking through my gold pieces often.
Didn't expect to see a "CC" on the one, Bob.
