Enthusiasm is a strange animal. In my 30's, I was enameled to meet a few pioneers that collected my chosen series before me. Some had great collections and I would end up with a coin or two of theirs or they may have written a book or two. But to pay to see any of them?? Let's say the car gas or phone bill or postage stamp was enough.

The more qualities observed in a coin, the more desirable that coin becomes!
I would. Easy worth that to have an expert take a look at my collection and give me a straight “come to Jesus” on my collections successes and failures. Would be like having billy Joel critique you performing piano man

About a month ago I stumbled on this website https://cameo.com/c/featured which was reminded to me (hm?) by this topic. Warning: you may never have heard of most of these "celebrities".

You must be kidding! However, I would pay him $25 if he would let me have access to his database of all coins submitted to CAC or allow individual collectors, like me, to submit coins directly.

With respect, I am pretty certain that I have seen the Great Man at a big coin show or two, and that's good enough.
I would go fifty if he would tell me which of my recent purchases had already been submitted.
Well I would, would ask him for
time travel to 1899 and see exactly what happened to that error coin.
Just Santa and Elvis.
What a silly question.
It is a Silly question, was meant as a light hearted thread.

For $25, it better be a "A" or "B" quality call....

Have him record your coin business voicemail as the voice of authority!
I think you intended to stir up trouble.
Good way to end up with a new red avatar

For the money spent there JA should call me for free and wish me a Merry Chistmas anyway. JMO FWIW
I might pay $25 for the CAC mascot to show up at my Christmas party. $35 for the gold bean one.
Too bad there aren't more colors of bean, then you could have 4 or 5 CAC mascots at coin shows doing stuff like the Milwaukee Brewers' sausage races.

I'm JA and I approved this greeting?
No - would not pay him anything. No interest.

The Forum has officially run out of topics.
There are always backroadjunkie threads , to keep the juices flowing.
