The third (and final) coin of the "Preamble to the Declaration of Independence" series of Platinum Proofs will be released on Jan 30, 2020 at Noon.

Preamble to the Declaration of Independence 2020 Platinum Proof Coin - Pursuit of Happiness (20EJ)

Mintage Limit: 13,000
Product Limit: 13,000
Household Order Limit: 1

All three "Preamble to the Declaration of Independence" have a common reverse:

This will conclude the three year "Preamble to the Declaration of Independence" program, the first two being "Life" and "Liberty". (Both coins are still available. Links are to the Mint's site.)

The current sales are around 13.6K for the 2018, and 9.6K for the 2019. I don't think the 2020 will be in any danger of a sell out. Should this coin go on sale today, it would be $1320.

Links to the 2018 and 2019 discussions on CU are here:
2019 Platinum Proof, Preamble to the Declaration of Independence - Liberty (19EJ)
2018 Platinum Proof Coin - Preamble to the Declaration of Independence - Life (18EJ)

And, in case you're curious, the 2021-2025 platinum proofs have already been planned as the "Freedom" series, and follow a similar theme:
2021: Freedom of Religion
2022: Freedom of Speech
2023: Freedom of the Press
2024: Freedom to Peaceably Assemble
2025: Freedom to Petition the Government for a Redress of Grievances

I do hope the renditions on the Freedom’s evoke something...

Nice design.... I do not collect platinum, but they have produced some nice coin art. Cheers, RickO

Can anyone from the mint tell us what “happinefs” is?

It's the spelling used in the actual document. Common 18th century usage for a "SS"

Hmmm... What would happen if a platinum proof went on sale and no one noticed?

    A 57.5% premium. (Spot is about $980.)

The Mint is quickly pricing driving me out of the hobby due to excessive premiums. (No, I wouldn't have bought a platproof, but things like a $23.30 increase in the 5oz pucks as silver remains sub-$20. At least that series is ending soon.)

Thank goodness the Mint has a bunch of commems coming up I don't want.

Looks like the pursuit of butterflies.
