What's this feebay bucks about? Are they giving everyone $10 bucks to spend on feebay?
Have gotten the last few (I think) but not this one. Wish we could decode the selection logic. Probably some kind of AI based on what you've been clicking.

eBay Knows that if they send me an eBucks coupon, I will use it
They are giving 10% cash back on any purchase for the next few days. Up to $100 cash back per purchase, up to $500 each quarter. If you buy enough like me, and have a few accounts, you can get a couple grand for free per quarter. Pretty sweet deal.
Once again I get it after I bought everything on my list with no auctions closing in time period
picked up ounce of gold at less than spot with the bucks calculated
Nice to have, but my state sales tax would grab almost all of it, so no coins for me this time.

Got it 😆
I just paid off $900 yesterday on auctions, now I get the notification for 10% , looks like I missed it again.

It's possible that is WHY you got the ebucks coupon.
Could be. But I haven’t bought anything in a long time and I still got it

@ms70 So you buying a bunch of PCGS boxes with this deal?
Offer is on the eBay home page not just sent via message.

Also grabbed four tubes of ASEs for 40 cents over spot.

I got two 8% offers earlier this month- but was just too busy and by the time I realized I had the offer, they already expired.
Got the 10% now

I finally got the 10% offer for the first time but...
"Eligible items* exclude warranties and protection plans, as well as items from the Coins & Paper Money, Gift Cards & Coupons, Vehicles in eBay Motors, and Real Estate categories."
Me too,,,,,,,
Are you sure? Check again. Usually only excludes bullion items in the coin category. Works for me (and everyone else, I would imagine)
Got this one as well as the last couple, after being skipped three straight. Who knows.
Gonna get me a $50 Octagonal someday. Some. Day.
ineligible items:
"Qualifying items exclude all items in the following categories: Classifieds; Business & Industrial, but only for Heavy Equipment within that category; Real Estate; Gift Cards & Coupons, including eBay Gift Cards, Gift Cards, and Digital Gifts within that category; Bullion within the Coins & Paper category; and all categories in Motors, except Parts & Accessories."
Note that these exclusions are based on the category the item is listed in and not on the item title or description. Bullion items listed in a non-bullion category would be eligible for the ebay bucks.

I got it and used it.
Since I haven't been buying a lot lately the 10 % sucked me right in.

Clipped right from offer. I'm not a regular buyer and mostly have sold in the category. First time I have received anything. Definitely different than what derryb posted.
Snapshot of this offer.
Get the bullion from another category and all is good.

If you are eligible for the offer, just look at whatever item you are interested in and it tells you right in the listing how many eBay bucks you will get. It's right below the price.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
Got it- thanks! But I don't have much of a watch list......

I think most/all got this offer (if not by email, check your eBay messages and the eBay home page), but in any case I wonder if some of the targeted promotions are based on whether or not you have a watch list or things in your cart,
Try to copy and paste the entire list of limitations - I can't believe they have different ones for different people....
Sad but true. Mine grabs over 6% of the sales price so 10% back is nice but the tax really puts a crimp in it. It is only really only an incentive to buy what I was probably going to buy anyway.
note that the list of categories not eligible for bonus bucks are also not eligible for regular ebay bucks. If you can earn regular bucks then you can earn bonus bucks. Again, category chosen by the seller determines if item is eligible or not.

Get used to it. State Sales tax, if you live in a State that charges a sales tax, is not limited to coins but all merchandise.
If you "register" for the 10% and use a snipe program, do you still get the 10%??
Here it is... different than most of what I see here...

Wow! Thx for posting. I have never seen a difference in the offers like that.
My mother always told me I was special... Guess she was stretching the truth
Your offer that is exempting all coin category items is a coupon. It is not the same as a 10% ebay bonus bucks offer.
Also, note that your coupon is valid 12/9 - 12/18. Current bonus ebay buck offer is only for a couple of days.
Two completely different flavors of a 10% discount.
No Way Out: Stimulus and Money Printing Are the Only Path Left
derryb,
Thanks, guess that explains it. I was surprised as I never receive offers.
You have to sign up for ebay bucks and bonus bucks separately.
thread on how to sign up/make sure you are signed up for bonus bucks.

I went back and added some more to my comments after I re-read your offer. It somehow did not make it to the post.
In any case, others have since pointed out that it is actually a different offer.
All is not lost, however. For coupons like yours you just need to search for bullion, etc., and find the listings that are not in the coins category. Some sellers list coins in other categories.
collectibles category is popular with coin sellers.
No Way Out: Stimulus and Money Printing Are the Only Path Left
Not all merchandise is taxed, and not all merchandise is discretionary. Coins are both. The 8.25% sales tax in my locality makes it uneconomical to use eBay for any coins, especially if bullion-related.

I believe OPA meant that ebay is levying the same tax percentage across the board on all items sold to buyers in each state where it has implemented tax collections.
